Talent Fund was born in the early 1960s out of a practical need - a group of musicians who'd rather be playing music than thinking about payroll. That founding spirit, where the business side exists to serve the creative side, shapes the way we work to this day.

For over 60 years, Talent Fund has handled talent and crew payroll for productions across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. In 2023, Laura Matthews and Kate Chasanoff acquired the company after ten years of working closely with the business, continuing a straightforward philosophy: accurate payroll, on time, from people you actually know. Between them, Laura and Kate bring over 50 years of experience in accounting and software systems across a wide range of industries - depth that shows up in the accuracy and reliability clients depend on.
